who is carrie?

Carrie fell in love with Yoga over 10 years ago and with 5 years as a full-time instructor has cultivated a deep passion for teaching and empowering students to connect with their bodies, breath, and inner peace. Carrie recognizes the power to uplift one’s energetic state by envisioning the best version of one’s self and flowing toward that reality with every class she teaches.

Carrie’s journey as a yoga practitioner and educator began with her early fascination with movement & breath work, particularly flexibility & meditation, which inspired her to pursue a career in yoga. When Carrie discovered she could strengthen and heal both her body as well as her mind from yoga & breath alone, she further developed her practice to share with others.

Carrie holds a 200-hour RYT certification in Hatha Yoga, which laid the foundation for her understanding of aligning breath with movement. As her curiosity grew, she expanded her knowledge through a 50-hour Rocket Yoga certification, where she honed her expertise in handstands, inversions & flexibility. Additionally, she completed Reiki I Energy Work certification and trained in Yoga Nidra guided meditation, which has allowed her to offer her students a holistic approach to healing, stress relief, and relaxation.

Throughout her five years as a full-time yoga instructor in Virginia, where she’s  originally from, she developed a dynamic teaching style that combines technical precision with a compassionate, inclusive approach. Carrie is deeply committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where students of all levels feel supported, encouraged, and empowered in their practice.

Carrie believes that yoga is not just about physical postures but about fostering mental well-being and emotional resilience, and she strives to integrate this philosophy into each class she teaches.
